The Ferguson Group, specialists in the rental of offshore containers, refrigerated containers, engineering modules and accommodation solutions to the offshore oil and gas sector, is set to promote its extensive range of products and services at the 2013 Australasian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference (AOG) in Perth, WA.
The Ferguson Group is exhibiting at the event on stand K26 during 20-22 February, at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre.
Delegates will have the opportunity to meet with members from Ferguson Group Australia to learn more about the products available in the region, and globally, including a new type of refrigeration container from its IceBlue Refrigeration Offshore division.
IceBlue Refrigeration Offshore, launches a new product to its range of offshore refrigerated containers. The new 6m containers offer a unique flexible system allowing for single or dual temperature zoned compartments. James Scullion, Business Development Executive said: “Our product range is constantly evolving in line with client needs and feedback, and our technical team works hard to integrate regional requirements into our products.
“Our twin-zoned containers are new to the market and are already proving extremely popular, both with new and existing customers. Exhibiting at AOG 2013 will provide a superb forum for us to introduce the new features to visitors.”
Since its launch in 2011 the Ferguson Group’s accommodation service vessel, ASV Pioneer, has been involved in an offshore cable laying project and is now deployed in the Mediterranean Sea on a contract with Titan-Micoperi in support of the Costa Concordia Salvage operation.
ASV Pioneer provides an accommodation complex including 2 person cabins complete with en-suite facilities, galley, mess, Gym, medical and recreational facilities, manufactured to DNV 2.7-1/EN12079 standards. In addition the vessel provides a large working open deck area measuring 1100m2 with a load capacity of 15 tonnes/m2.
Recent expansion in Western Australia has included relocating one of its four bases to new larger facilities in Perth, the next phase of group’s expansion is the development of a new base in Karratha which is scheduled to come online during the latter part of 2013. Furthermore the group announced the appointment of David Gagiero as Finance Manager at its Perth WA base, along with the renaming of its operating company from Ferguson Seacabs Pty Ltd to Ferguson Group Australia Pty Ltd.
